...settle for that before the game, settle for it after.

For those that are not happy, think about how you felt after Southampton away. Steady the ship, get mid-table mediocrity and then sign the players you need that might make us more expansive.
Do you trust Walsh?

Not football that. Someone needs to remind Sam that we are out of the relegation zone and in the top 10 with a chance of actually getting something out of this season. It is one thing to look for a draw against Chelsea or Liverpool but to do it against a struggling West Brom is pretty pathetic and there is no excuse. He needs to start being a bit more positive in these games that we should be winning. 2 Points lost for me this one and an extremely boring and frustrating Boxing Day 2017.

Well we got Allardyce in to make us solid at the back and pick up some points...... Can't argue that's exactly what he is doing. It's awful viewing but we created this mess ourselves in the summer and have gone from a season full of promise and expectation to one of twatting the ball up the pitch and acceptance.

We either add a few attackers in January or we go the rest of the season grinding out points.

Garbage. Clean sheets away is good, but players constantly punting it long and losing it when passes were on is utter horse manure, lost count in the end.

Never presume that these are easy games. The clue is there for all to see. Whenever there are near back to back PL games such as Saturday and today you find very few teams win 2 or lose 2

Only Spurs and a winner from the Toon/City game will have 6 points and NO TEAM has lost both.

Some you fellas need to take a long hard look at the tripe you're spouting and dig deep into your goldfish memories to see if you can think bag to mid October and how pathetic we were. That was a very tough game against a team who are also re-galvanised under new management and with a very loud and loyal backing who could see their players putting a shift in. You have to stand up and be counted in games like that and we did. Six weeks ago we'd have gone down by at least 5 goals in that game. I thought we dug in and battled hard, which is what you've got to do at this time of year. So take the positives. Another clean sheet, another point and our CBs and Snides clearly growing in confidence. Particularly good game from Holgate, Kenny and Pickford....neither buckled under pressure !

I’m glad you think this is somehow acceptable

Like I said I welcome every point we get with this less than talented team. 12 points and unbeaten since BFS has taken us to a safe position whereas before he came we it looked hopeless and took some drubbings and we still didn't play good football. Played badly lost loads of points and now still playing badly and winning points. That is acceptable to me until the January window shuts and then I hope we are starting to play footie while still keeping it tight.

A point away. Nothing more to say really. I understand the negativity, Yes we are far from being ...even entertaining but we all aknowledged this side was a spineless one. Also.....for strikers we have a kid and a not so prolific older gent from a russian league. We dont have a left back...or an attack minded rightback. I'm going to take the only positive I can at present. A point away. A long way from where we were a month or two ago.

With the players we've got though Eggs, shouldn't we be at least having a go at a team like West Brom, they hadn't won in 17 prem games before today, they have a new manager, but we were negative/defensive the whole game? It was a good job they were gash in front of goal, because they missed 2 sitters in the first half.
