Can see us setting up as Chelsea do with Sigurdsson and Bolasie either side of Calvert-Lewin with Davies and Schneiderlin in the middle. Think we will rely on Holgate and Keane passing through to Davies, Bolasie and Sigurdsson, then them creating from there.

The formation can be attacking or defensive depending on how the team play on the day, just hope they turn up for the first half this time.

This is Sam Allardyce though so people will automatically say too defensive

..I imagine Allardyce is very keen to keep this unbeaten run going. He probably feels we haven’t got the ammunition to take a game to the opposition away from home, we struggle to keep possession or create.

I think we will actually see us line up less defensively mate, normally a back 4 with two holding mids, think today its 3 at the back with one holding, we will see whose right soon like

..I think the reality is that Kenny and Martina are full backs. I doubt they will have a similar role to Moses and Alonso at Chelsea. Martina rarely runs past the opposition, he get the ball and crosses. I imagine Kenny and Martina’s primary roles will be as defenders and they won’t be too far detached from the CBs.

we were always going to play 3 at the back with Gana out. Keane deserves the start for his performance over the weekend. Glad to see Bolasie back and look forward to his pace and guile working well with DCL’s energy and tenacity. 2-0 Everton in a hard fought game where we nick one, then score again at the end of the game when WBA push forward to equalize.

Allardyce could well play three at the back at Bournemouth, perhaps with Lennon allowing Kenny to take a well-earned rest.

Calvert-Lewin will surely be rested soon too. But Rooney's absence today makes planning even more complicated.
