Our boss

is boss

I'm not usually one to bother with stats and charts (gone are the days of Matt Damon's colored graphs), but since strength of schedule is a very American idea and I'm, well, an American, here goes..

[/TABLE]

Above is a table of top half sides sorted by a weighted average opponent position per game. Low opponent position per game means you've played better teams. Position is factored in as of today since I can't be arsed with a more pure (difficult) method.

I've weighted the average to compensate for a team's own position by adding it into the total position of opponents. That essentially acts as if the team played itself, and adjusts for the lower average position in the pool of teams to play for a higher seeded team. Basically, it evens the pool of table positions one could play against.

The unweighted average is just a straight up 'how good are the teams you have played,' and sees United with a just slightly trickier schedule than us (the sh*te have still had it easiest, like).

TL/DR - We're boss and have a bossable few weeks to come so we can be even more boss.

Amazing performance today.
Arsenal do what they are good at doing and make a moment of quality tell, but we went toe to toe wtih them for >90mins and were got the point that we deserved. Make no mistake, we are the darkest of dark horses for at 3rd-4th. I'm sure that Wenger will have been impressed with what he saw today.

Fantastic stuff dude!

As long as we don't revert to Everton of old that drops too many points against those below us in the table...the sky is the limit.

Yep - I did some rough Calcs - We could get to 40pts after the 19 Games - if we do really well - prob 35-38.
Arsenal may struggle to get many more than 40.

Liverpool could be on 33-34 - only beating Cardiff and a draw against spurs - losing to Chelsea and City. If results really went our way - we could be top/join top on 40 and Liverpool could be 7th below Newcastle :)

One can Dream :)

We should still pick up a place or two due to all those sides playing some combo of each other - lots of draws would be good in those :)

I said on the way out of the ground then, it was like watching us in the first 10 games of the season. We had our swagger back.
