Wembley semis ?

I am looking forward to the final when the majority of blues fans are drowning out the national anthem and 1 fan in the corner (ghost!), is looking angry and pleading with everyone to be more patriotic before giving up stamping his feet and storming off. Lol

a nightmare i predict. semi shouldnt be too bad but final would be a 'mare. thing is the club know who's been to what games and should by rights be able to work out who should get them.

i wont be watching this space though tbh.

It will be ST holders 1st won't it?

If i don't get a ticket i'll be furious.

If / when we get to the final I'll be flying in, don't care if I have to pay out my arse for a ticket off some muppet on ebay or even if I end up sitting with the wrong set of fans.

However, heading all the way for a semi just because it's at Wembley is completely out of the question.

There's plenty of suitable stadia around, the FA should really not be attempting to take any more mystique away from such a brilliant Cup that's been on the wane for a while now - Wembley's for finals, would prefer using the Millenium Stadium if they're determined to have the semi's in a completely neutral venue.

I'm not that fussed to be honest.

I would like it to be only played on the day of the final....

But I wouldnt complain about 2 trips to Wembley. A FA Cup final can get played in a car park for all I care, it'd still be magic because its the FA Cup final.

Playing the semi's there just gives 2 more teams a chance to play on a HUGE stage. Its good for the lower league sides who get that far, like last season, and generates a lot of money for all teams because of the higher attendences.

I dont think it takes away from the magic. Playing at the Millenium Stadium for finals seemed more like taking the magic away it than anything else IMO.

If we get anyone but the Mancs , I predict it being relatively easy to get them . i.e , everyone who goes regular will get one . Im not looking forward to it . Im chokka at a bleeding league game !! However , wouldnt swap it for the world .

I still remember 1995 :@ - me and my brother queued from 9.p.m saturday night to 12 noon the following sunday morning there was thousands doing it - and after basically sleeping on the street I still didn't get a ticket :@ What a shambles that was. :@

......thank got my uncle managed to blag one for me the following week and I didnt miss out on that glorious day:D:D:D
