It's a semi-pro league at best (even I've played in it many years ago). No money in it even if the 'big clubs' rejoin and they would soon be out of business.

It truly is the land of my Father's Father.

There is also Newport County who should be in the Welsh league.

I think Colwyn Bay went back after financial troubles, after checking yes they did. Had a few half decent trips with Barrow there.

Do they still have the Welsh cup with Tranmere and Chester in it ?

The winners used to get in the old Cup Winners Cup.

Though if my memory serves, if one of the participating English teams won it (and I do believe Shrewsbury Town entered as well as the Wirral clubs) they weren’t allowed to go into Europe.
