We've got snow this morning. A few years ago we woke up to about 5 inches of snow. I was clearing the path at home when a neighbour came out with the biggest smile ever. He's mid 20's and had only been in the country for about 18 months. It was the first time in his life he'd ever seen snow. It was like being a kid again just watching him. We made a snowman for his wife, and chucked a few snowballs around. Snow can be a pain in the rear, but sometimes you've just got to be a big kid and enjoy it while it lasts. The lad's moved on now but seeing the snow and remembering a daft half hour has made me smile this morning.
