Well done Norwich

As a foreign fan with no qualms about the place being a light year from civilization (by UK standards), I have to say I find Norwich to be just a boring team. They don't have any great history or passionate support and they have no real ambition to do anything outside grind out results to stay up so they just feel like a team that is making up the numbers like Brighton have been. More excited to see Sheffield United and I would love to see Wednesday join them some day. Villa or Leeds would both be good to see back although Leeds are a bit annoying I hear.

They’re all that and more. They’ll spend maybe 10 million in the summer window and when the miracle last-minute free kicks and worldies they scored in the Championship don’t follow them into the PL, they’ll go right back to unwatchable junk football until they go down again. They’ve come up twice since I’ve been watching the Premier League and they’ve followed the same script both times. No reason to believe they won’t make it three in a row.

The only amusing thing about Norwich is their chairman is named Ed Balls. EDIT: Never mind, he stepped down last December. There are no amusing things about Norwich.

All I remember them doing in the Premier League is getting about a million hattricks from Suarez. Fully deserved promotion though, can't believe Leeds have managed to bottle it.

No, it takes all day to get there and there are no decent boozers ( happy to be contradicted on that) . I’ll be swerving it next season.

You’re right on the all day bit .

But wrong on the boozers,

Around the cathedral there’s some very decent boozers - the Ribs of Beef, alongside the canal being an absolute cracker.

You’ve just got to know where they are.

A surprising number of smack heads for a small place too.

Good market in the centre of town, pub's are ok as I remember.
Year's since I've been there like, have only seen it on Alan Partridge in recent years, the owl sanctuary looks good.

Hopefully they are pyar fodder and give us plenty of points before disappearing back down into oblivion. Teams with a yellow home kit have no place in the highest echelons of English football.

Agree wholeheartedly. If your founders didn’t see fit to kit you out in some combo of red, white and blue they obviously didn’t foresee you playing in front of more than 64 people. They need a Vincent Tan style visionary who will go in there and make some ballsy kit changes.
