What's the % of losing weight as far as diet and exercise? Not what you think. 70% to 30% in favour of..... Diet. I weighed 16st 10 lbs, weights forty mins and cardio forty mins six days a week, never lost a pound. Sorted. my diet out and lost four stone in a year, without weights or much cardio.

Can’t out-train a bad diet as they say.

I was very gently taking the pish. On a cholesterol egg yolks aspect. You on the protein shakes for breakfast? and what would you say your daily spend is on food & supps?

Probs spend about £40 p/w on food. Protein powder I last bought 5kg in July 2024, only just re-buying now.

U own your own farm shop? 6 eggs is £2.50 - that daily is nearly half your forty quid. Steak, steak burgers, chicken, cottage cheese...

12 large eggs for £2 in Aldi but my parents have 8 chickens so I don’t buy them normally. And you’re inventing foods I eat there. Steak? Why

I was under the impression that, to get all the macro nutrients a bulk phase requires, covering all the protein range was good (this is pseudo knowledge I've been bored to tears with previous by a few hess-heads I've known). Protein shakes, eggs, turkey, chicken, steak, tuna, a couple or three of these daily, and rotating through pea nut butter, rice cakes, mixed veg. It's like a full time job, and seems incredibly restrictive. As a way of life it appears a bit joyless (I know I've just typed that on an Everton forum).

low/no carb cutting. Knew a chap that'd live off shake for breakfast, whisked egg whites n 2 cans tuna for lunch, steak n chicken for tea. couple of skyr type yogurts later if he fancied something to keep the hunger feeling off. He was already pretty loopy. Would have driven me bonkers after a couple of days. He could last a few weeks. Got to drink loads of water.

I have a protein powder/yogurt mix breakfast, protein shake at the gym, then usually chilli & rice or bolognese and rice for tea with green beans. Lots of water. I’m good when it comes to simple routines though. Lost 4kg so far this week.

That's nearly 9 pounds. You using the water for colonic irrigation? Nine pounds? Holy smokes!

Edit, congratulations, how far have you come and got to go?
