Which do you use and which do you rate?

Rank 1 to 5.

I've just changed to Google Chrome from IE9... and once you get used to it its brilliant.

Firefox just seemed too cluttered and complicated....

Thoughts from you pros ?

I work for a team that primarily uses webchat to communicate with customers and can tell you that firefox is a right pain in my ***!

Well it seems that theres an issue on Google Chrome not allowing or not having some of the features say of Norton Int. Sec. 2010 in a toolbar.

One of the things about IE9 was that you couldn't tailor the toolbars enough.

Firefox is just to clunky bit better but clunky. I stuck with IE9 as a result..... but...

Google Chrome is just an absolute pleasure to surf with..... so fast its unreal compared to IE9.

But I would like a security toolbar if I want one. But I'm sticking with Chrome, hopeful that the features I want are done soon without impacting performance or the nice "lack of clutter".

Left IE around IE7, moved to Firefox 1.5, stuck with that through Firefox 2 then switched to Chrome. Got very annoyed by compatibility issues with Chrome so switched to Safari for Windows which never had an issue with a website but it was a bit slow and probably had too many features.

As of right now I'm back using Firefox 3.6 with the: Fastest Fox, Camifox and New Tab King addons. Probably the best overall browsing experience. It's fast to run, small and looks good and most importantly is by far the best in terms of ease and speed of use.

I go on a number of pan european databases (international level scale in size) for work which wont go into. Lets just say they have set times of the day that they can be accessed as they're sensitive.

I've not had any compatibility issues and they are all heavy duty websites. Same for any high end media sites.

I'm using Google Chrome v4.1

And its so unbelievable smooth and fast its untrue. Even on those notorious european databases!

The only thing that concerns me is security integration..............

Tried Firefox but never liked the layout or clutter. Plus it seems jumpy. Thats not to say its not better than IE9 in that regard because it is as you say.

But honestly to me Chrome's something else.

Chrome is great, it is a very fast browser. I do use Firefox for a couple of things, mostly due to the Greasemonkey app that allows you to run scripts on websites.

Either way, you can't go wrong with the latest generation of browsers, even IE is getting better (and it is the standard).

At work I am stuck in the dark ages....we just upgraded (at the beginning of the week) from IE 6.5 to IE7. Doesn't sound like much, but now I can have tabbed browsing at work!!! And believe me, that is.....a......jump!!!

You sound FBI, to me mate. Or MI6 or whatever...

I'm well stopping making all the casual comments about my pyromaniac tendancies and my time caught il flagrante delicto in a hotel room with a transexual hooker and their mother.

 Sorry.

That quantum leap you just described was like me discovering Chrome today... and that was only when I downloaded Skype! Thats how set in my ways I'd become. Like being on Windows 95 and you lot are on Windows 7 !

Am so glad I did as its going to make my work life a dream compared to the sluggish IE9.

And FF just couldnt get into.

Its a quantum leap me discovering Chrome almost like this:
