Even just from a football perspective I'm glad it's not happening today, football is supposed to be entertainment, but there's nothing entertaining about watching a game in high winds. It'd have completely ruined it even if they had been able to push through

Dont forget the Anfield Derby is 2nd April. So we will may get 2 Derby's in a a few weeks at that point

And the rest of April’s fixtures already mirror this month’s so we really would much rather not have this added there too, would make for a brutal run in.

Disappointed it’s off to be honest. Can understand why but the postponement definitely suits them.
After the midweek games, I was confident we’d turn them over today.

It certainly doesn’t favour them, it’s one extra game in a period where they’ll likely go deep in both the Champions League and the FA Cup unless they get bad draws in both

Jokes aside the club, although absolutely not their fault, should extend some kind of offer to the lad that's travelled from Australia. Invite him to the training ground or something like that. Even the club sorting new flights for the next fixture would like the equivalent of us mere fans spending about 20p.
