I suppose these storms are difficult to track with any certainty until they develop and get closer. Just needs a slight change in track and the effects can be minimised

They try to predict the worse case scenario too, better to have folks ready for the worst it can get rather than having people caught up travelling if it gets very bad.

A Monday night if I remember correctly, and it was called off because slates had came off and landed on the Goodison Road near the Winslow.

I’d just got to the pub after struggling through terrible winds, and had to turn back round.
