Can’t imagine you saying this if Moyes had a squad that was assembled for 400 million quid. He should very well be able to manage Europe and the league with what he has. Unless he isn’t a very good manager.Dyche needs to get out of the European fixtures ASAP.
It was a step too far for an outfit like Forest these days.

I mean wouldn't you expect a manager of a team that 12 months ago was qualifying for Europe with £184.5 million pumped into it to be beating Leeds Dave?

That's 12 months ago when we were in a relegation fight and without £115M pumped into us.

They weren't bought by Dyche so how is that relevant? Can’t imagine you saying this if Moyes had a squad that was assembled for 400 million quid. He should very well be able to manage Europe and the league with what he has. Unless he isn’t a very good manager.
Those players are nothing to do with Dyche and regardless of their cost they've proven themselves to be hopeless.I mean wouldn't you expect a manager of a team that 12 months ago was qualifying for Europe with £184.5 million pumped into it to be beating Leeds Dave?
You disregarded Moyes achieving a win over Fulham even though he did it with a team that spent £70M less in the summer.![]()

That's some company line you're spinning there David. Those players are nothing to do with Dyche and regardless of their cost they've proven themselves to be hopeless.
Only now will Dyche being to adapt them into a team that can stay up.
They brought all sorts in but it was mostly tripe. Gibbs-White is still by far their best player. They spent, but they stood still or regressed. Just because they spent loads on them doesn't mean Dyche can turn them into a top half of the table + European worthy team. That's some company line you're spinning there David.
Barely a quarter of the season had been played before he came in so they'd hardly "proven themselves to be hopeless", it's a European squad David. Some of them are being linked with 70-80 million quid moves like Anderson and Gibbs White. Those players are the ones he's being paid to manage and they've cost a LOT of money.
Beating Leeds is a minimal expectation and not an achievement, like us beating Fulham at home. Imagine spending 180 million quid on your squad and fist pumping beating Leeds at home...

It should mean beating Leeds isn't seen as an achievement but a basic expectation. As you would say, expect Moyes' Everton to beat Fulham and not see it worthy or any significant praise. They brought all sorts in but it was mostly tripe.
