No, he talks about wanting us back in Europe and that the squad shouldn’t have been scrapping relegation on 17 points when he took over.
He talks about a new stadium that has a "high bounce problem" and that "it's difficult to get results at a new stadium"...and he talks about getting Everton "closer to competing on the pitch with 'the big clubs'"...when other managers just do it.

Sean: on the grass and completely in command. Again.

Forest have got a really good squad tbh, they have gone way too early on a damage limitation manager with diabolical football, rather than someone who could deliver a trophy. (Ange was a step too far, but now they have gone way too far in the opposite direction).

Hope they enjoy the turgid garbage they have signed up for.
They should have kept Ange. They would have won a trophy next season.

Forgive us for ignoring your judgement on manager/squad capabilities.

‘’Dyche shouldn’t be expected to get more than 48 points and target better than 12th with this squad because the squad and players aren’t good enough”

Moyes gets 31 points in 19 games with the same squad and players.

I’ve said Moyes is a better manager than Dyche so not sure what your issue is. Also it wasn’t the same because we literally added a new number 10 in January who contributed how many goals and assists down the finishing straight? Never mind factoring in the return to fitness of Garner and McNeil.

We’ve poured 100 mill into this squad now and are currently projecting low 50s if the ppg stays the same. There’s people all over the Moyes thread saying 12th is fine. Why were those expectations for progression there for Dyche but they’re not for what is now a much much better squad than any Dyche ever had?

If Moyes got 31 points in 19 games with a much worse squad why aren’t people demanding progression from 62 points and are instead seemingly happy with slightly above 48?

The answer is because people just don’t like Dyche and have turned discussions of managers into a complete binary play where if you denounced Dyche you must now die on a hill for Moyes.

I want managers to make the best of what they’ve got. In my opinion Dyche did that for 18 months and then admittedly hit a poorer patch although everyone seems to now be ignoring the factors of his contract ending, not being renewed, and the club blatantly about to be overtaken.

He certainly didn’t do anything at this club that deserves the sort of bile production some of you lot threw at him.

I bet if you actually listened to other clubs managers, they all say those same things and same sound bites.

Oh, and unbeaten at the new stadium. So as hard as it is, he is doing a good job at it.

Good job too with 3 points on the road, as Moyes takes his upgraded pen knife to a gunfight.

Players at the club weren’t even fit when he arrived, and people think he was the problem? They almost deserve Lampard back.

Jan 23, 18 games remaining, Everton in 19th with 15 points. 1 point from the last 21. 3 points from safety. Anthony Gordon sold, no one brought in. Remaining fixtures include Arsenal (x2) Liverpool (a) Chelsea (a) United (a) Brighton (a) City (h) Newcastle (h) Spurs (h) Villa (h). Calvert Lewin gets injured in first game. On the line? The entire future of the club, literally its complete existence as a going concern.

He whacked the runaway title leaders in his first game, came back a goal down at Stamford Bridge with Simms playing upfront, came back against Spurs with ten men, whacked Brighton who were flying 5-1 on their own patch, and won every must win game at home in Leeds Brentford Bournemouth.

I wouldn’t even back much better Everton teams to do some of that in a normal season never mind under that type of pressure.

Yeah but it wasn’t entertaining. Clowns.

Sorry what’s it got to do with you? Or are you still bothered that Liverpool lost and somehow think I’m to blame for wanting them to lose?
It’s a forum where people get called out. Your propensity to make crap call after crap call is getting called out. Particularly when you have the bare-faced to call others out for bad calls.

I, like, most Blues am as happy as Harry that the RS lost. Unlike you I didn’t predict that they would school United.

...then came the season when the PL wanted Everton relegated and the pressure of points deductions...and waiting for them to land.

Some people might call his detractors ungrateful....as well as clueless....
