If you look at his gloves they are not clenched so he hasn’t punched the player, his fingers are outstretched and he’s missed the ball and brushed the forest player
When you compare Barry getting booted by Saliba and VAR didn’t intervene and they did for this incident, it’s a farce

I mean, it wasn't exactly Harold Schumacher or anything but he's slammed right into Gibbs-White. I think he went for the ball though.

Fantastic win for Seany tonight. Setting the team up to be expansive and not having to rely on a corner hitting the top of a 5ft midfielders eyebrows which somehow ended up in the goal and the opposition goalkeeper running out and punching through your players face for a penalty in the last few minutes. All of this against a magnificent West Ham side who have amassed 14 points from 21 games so far.

Football used to be a contact sport. A coming together was looked on as just that - a fair attempt to play the ball. Now, any contact at all can be penalised - except when an Everton striker gets kicked on the sole. Harry Kane gets a penalty for that in the Euros...

Just saw the replay. They both missed the ball and hit each other while moving in each other’s direction. If Areola goes down clutching his head is it then a foul on Gibbs White instead because he ran into the keeper? It’s a no call for me.
