Poor Dyche…
Can’t do anything right.
Take us over with no money to spare points deductions, selling best players… keeps us up and get no thanks. His arms were tied round his back here.
Everyone sayin if he “was that good why isn’t he getting a premier league job.”
Then gets a premier league, turning round Forest fortunes (after being terrible with two managers that would have been popular choices to come here).
All he gets is that his team is lucky because the team is too good. Some what contradicting earlier statements about his in ability to coach better players.
No wonder the countries in the state it is in. No one is prepared to give an inch

They were not terrible under Nuno at all, what are you on about.

Serious question - Are you ever prepared to give an inch?

4 points adrift in the relegation zone when he turned up. 4 points clear of it now. All within 6 league games. 2 European wins to boot in there as well.

Turning dire situations around, it’s what he does.

The thing is, yes he is the type of manager who can come in and give a bit of spark to players who may be down a bit. I don't believe there is much tactically, or it wasn't with us. It was more heart and soul and giving everything, with a bit of tactics thrown in after that.

The big thing for these types of managers, can they then adapt to stop the obvious rot after this. Mainly because, after this initial period, tactics will have to come to the fore. He did a good job at Burnley for an extended period of time, mainly because the expectations were not there [relevant to other clubs).

With us, there is generally a higher expectation to be better, to be competing at the right end of the table. That means a manager needs to adapt on the pitch and be more proactive and positive. He could not do that, it was still as if it was survival mode to the nth degree. I will always go back to that Bournmouth game. That was a game where were most definitely going for a goalless draw. There was zero intent on getting a goal, even on the counter.

The dire situation was back with vengeance and it was Dyche who brought it back with that mentality. I actually hope he does OK, as I don't have anything against him personally, but it was his football management of the team that put us in peril before he went.

To be fair their psychopath owner any his unreasonable expectations after forests over achievements last season finished Nuno off.
Nuno had clearly done a great job, and there is no way I would have wanted him sacked.
However, form had dropped significantly on the back end the season. It was the kind of form that would have had some of our fans calling for his head.

Psychopath owner or not... Dyche is now dealing him.

I think I do. I accept that watching Dyche's football is painful so I understand the negativity can exist. However, the level hate he gets is unbalanced - by now should be able too look back and say crap football, but did a decent job. And he has done what is required Forest. Some people hate towards him is near Rafael level, Im not sure he deserves that. Moshiri tenure was a shambles and Dyche did well to get through that at the end

The reason I asked is that I have got to say then that your post was very contradictory.

Why do you say the above then when clearly it isn't everyone? When you say everyone it includes you, me and others who do give an inch.

I know that I sound pedantic but it it a pet hate of mine when people say 'everyone' or 'no one' when they really mean 'lots of people' or 'some people'.
