carsley did the club proud , he wasnt in the same leauge as tommy grav class footballer on his day ,id like to see tommy in todays team ,so would jelavic i bet

the whole team needs a shot in the arm - strong forcefull captain leading by example might do the trick - who would you rather fight against ? 100 lions with a sheep as a leader or 100 sheep with a lion as a leader ? technically DM is exellent but he needs a sport psycologist beside him urgently - we are winning the physical battles but we are losing the psycological ones - i think Moyes scares the hell out of players at half time instead of motivating them - at least that is what it looks like

its not sunday league lad, Gravesen was a footballer who at his best dictated play for us, and set up the team for the 4th place finish, theres are no hard men at top tier football, they are all blag merchants, who can kick off, square up to each other and never have to fight it out. If were talking about needing leaders thats one thing, but I dont buy the 'hard case' stuff.

agree mate we are certainly too nice of a club, from moyes never there to bollock officials and no-one on the pitch to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and be a snide if need be, we need a player that when scores against the kopites shows the same lack of respect to their ******** manager/fans as that buck tooth **** did to us but we dont
