We dont have a snide

I dont get all theses calls for Heitinga to be in the middle putting in strong challenges. The one thing we know about Heitinga is that despite looking a hard knock he is an absolute bottler when it comes to putting his foot in when played in the middle.

Felli is a proper snide when he wants to be....especially when he stamps in tackles

Neville is a snide too....he is smart enough to give away fouls on the half way line when a break could out us in trouble

Nasty piece of work is extremely harsh considering I would say you've seen 90 minutes of him. I thought he had an excellent game where he won the majority of his challenges, certainly not as dirty as what's being made out.

How many of you labelled Charlie Adam because he used to play for that pile of ****e across the park?

It was Adam on Parker and his heatseeking attacks on Bale that got him his reputation. Yacob put in the 4 worst challenges in the three league games we have played yesterday. At least Scholes said sorry for catching Gibson late. Yacob kept rolling around on the floor looking to get other players booked after he had fouled them. Hes a dirt ball.

Well, he'd have needed to be on a tandem with Chris Hoy to have caught Odemwingie yesterday. With Brom being such a big side it also worked very badly against Osman, especially when it was us hooping balls into the middle either from the back or the flanks, he was never going to do a load of over six foot players.
Yesterday took me back to games watching Cahill, especially when we played Brum years ago where he and Bowyer knocked lumps out of each other for the full 90 - full blooded sporting endeavor harking back to their Millwall days.

Cor blimey, who put our last nasty challenge in? And who got red carded for us last (straight red) for an actual offence, not a second yelow/play acting con. I wonder.

I didn't see Yacob doing any rolling about on the floor. Apart from when he was blugeoned in the face but he soon got up, changed his kit, came back on and controlled the game. Class act

disagree, definitely saw him rolling around quite a bit and looking at the linesmen or ref every time there was contact with him and naismith. he's definitely a little ****

A reputation built on one challenge which led to a goal, despite the fact no one seems to have picked up that Jags should also of made a challenge, get over it, he's made loads of very strong challenges since then. He's a good player but he's still a CB where his challenges and ability are more useful. I wouldn't play him in DM because he's a far better CB.

So you agree with me then? he's no DM, all I'm saying is that he has a hard knock reputation on the basis he looks hard and he shoulder barged Ashley Cole once.

Yacob had a great game for West Brom.

Didn't think he was that dirty tbh, he just won most of his challenges. He got stuck in yeah but I've seen other players do far worse stuff in matches. Scholes vs Man Utd was putting in worse tackles than Jacob.
