After watching that performance (on a very pixilated asian stream) i thought we were fantastic. if we continue playing like that we will beat most teams and climb back up the table. i thought Pienaar was amazing he never gave up. a few points though which i would like cleared up - did Fellaini get booked twice and was Wes brown the last man when he downed the Yak?

Lets not get too excited now. We need to build on it more then anything, we know we have a squad full of talent and it's annoying that we have been [Poor language removed] lately, but lets wait and see how we do against Fulham and West Ham first.

6 points from the next 2 games and I will start getting sexually aroused, but for now I am sticking with a semi.

I still think there are flaws in the side, but the most encourageing thing was the heart today, we need to balance out the midfeild better. Passion, tempo got us a result today. That should be our starting point.

We did the dirty work today in the second half that gave us a foundation for the result thats the bread and butter and hasnt been happening of late.

If we can find a system that works with Cahill coming back into the side and play as we did in the second half im hopefull.

We certianly need a DM, another creative midfiler and possibly two winger for the midfiled.

if you wanted a game to kick on from this was the one, especially considering manures current form. i felt that a performance was coming soon as background issues were resolved (Daveys contract) and our better players are coming back to full fitness. This game will do the feel-good-factor no harm at all. so yes i think it is right to get excited. bring on the clean sheet lads!!!

the foul happened in our half so im noy sure if that affected the decision.

I shouldn't make any difference. If Brown was the last defender and Yak would of been through on goal then it should of been a red.

But i believe Vidic was hovering and due to the distance from goal Wiley thought he would of got back to cover.

I think he actually got this one right but i havent seen a decent replay.

First to all the guys who thought I was nuts to suggest we could win and would get at least a point HA .What did you say Cal Have I seen United:lol:secondly to those who would welcome Rooney back ?still feel the same,as for Brown lets get serious name me one ref who would send a sky 4 player off against us?.I made Fellaini man of the match and to prove even I can be wrong:lol:I thought Phil Neville had the best game I have seen him play for us.(y)

Bout time we showed some passion. Cant get too excited but it goes to show we can play. I was wrong about this match. I thought we might win. I knew Fellaini would start to prove people wrong and I just know he's gonna be a top top player for us. Well done the blues. Theres a rs supporter in our place who said to me at 5 past 12 are Everton gettin beat yet. I said we've only just kicked off and he said thats what he meant. As sure as the pope has an arsehole I'm gonna bump into this clown tomorrow and stick will be heading his way. Sick of the [Poor language removed] we as Evertonians put up with because we happen to support a club of true history. [Poor language removed] them all we can climb the table now.

I like to think we're back. Never doubted that also. We should have won today, but definately believe that the end result has been a huge morale booster. Now lets look forward and start moving up the table. Bring on Bolton!(y)

Ray for the first time this season I felt the passion was back even in the first half when they had most of the possession.mind you have just read the sky report and apparently only Howard saved us???.

I thought it was back defensively against Arsenal. Bodies were getting thrown left, right and centre to block shots in front of goal.

We're back. b)

Thats typical Roy. Fergy will be on next complaining that we roughed them up to get a result. Too much bias towards the sky4 mate.

i have to agree with the nevil thought, i belive it was his tackle on Ron- oops i fell-aldo that got manure riled and set the Presidence for the rest of the game in which we pressured and dominated.
