Gets his last year of his contract waived so much can leave for free.
Stupid business as usual.
Wonder if real will do the same with Ronaldo if he leaves, waive his last two years and sell him for free. Ye me neither.

Not a good player anymore.but still a big marketing tool DC united are getting for free

He has done wonders for our profile....

Said this when we signed him, nobody gives a toss about Wayne Rooney, only Manchester United's Wayne Rooney. He is not a Zlatan or a Ronaldo who has a charisma about him. He is a quiet lad from Croxteth who was very good at football.

I am sure Everton will give Rooney a send off & welcome him back when the time is right...
Everton/Rooney still have unfinished business...

I’ve never seen a world class player decline as quickly as Rooney. I remember in Moyes’ season at United people were saying he was ok but had definitely slowed up. That was 5 years ago, he was only 27, he should have been at his absolute peak. Instead his peak was between the ages of 18 and 23. He’s only 33 now but is struggling to even find simple passes now. It’s sad to watch, this move is the right one for him.

Lost our only world class player here.

Lost his pace but because Allardyce and an awful Koeman couldn’t find a useful way to utilise him is a loss to us in my opinion.
Not for me. He did ok and I’m not knocking him but I imagine Silva/Brands will want, and we need, better.

When the time is right, the only business, unfinished or otherwise, EFC should do with Rooney is supply him - At Full Market Prices, with season tickets for him and his kids.

And as for coaching, let him learn on some body elses dime, he's a multi millionaire ffs, we've paid him enough.
If hes any good we might consider him
