Anyone who's watched Rooney play this link role over the last few years will know he can't do it. He's had a few games where he's looked impressive spraying passes but overall he lacks the legs and tactical discipline to be part of a midfield unit.
I'd sell him to China in January and reinvest. No joke.

Doesn't matter mate. If Barkley is fit, Rooney, siggy and klassen will start ahead of him. The relationship is damage.
Mirallas is a perfect example.
