He was very hit or miss tonight, but he hit when it count. We were really hurt by the lack of pace supporting DCL, and that isn't Rooney's fault. He didn't have many runners to aim for.

got tired around 60 minute mark, but he really has been excellent so far. Very intelligent player, great to have him back.

Hope he can keep getting goals, if he can get 10-15 that'll be a great return.

Looks a key player this season, but yes, I can also see him sitting out a match, after starting 4 in a row. Sandro, Sigi and possibly Lookman for Thursday.
