Being a person from Northern Ireland I am not a fan of flags, or to give them their proper name flegs. They used to be a symbol of national pride but have now become symbol of division and jingoistic fervour. There should be a point in time where the government should be allowed to take the flag off people until they are grown up enough to use it in the correct way. We in Northern Ireland may never be allowed flegs again.
