And I'm very happy for them. Quite the achievement for little Watford that, one single point above one of the worst Everton teams in the club's history. During one of the worst seasons in premier league history were literally everyone other then the top six is total garbage. It matters not that there's still 12/13 games left for us both to play, nobody can take this moment away from them!

Congratulations are in order I suppose, hopefully they can get a plaque made to commemorate this momentous occasion for the club and put it alongside their Southern Football Trophy from 1914-15. Good to know that dreams do come true for little club's eh?

Imagine a similar thing being written by a United fan about us. Small club and big club crap should be left to the FIFA and Soccer AM fan boys in Twitter

Well exactly, but that doesn't alter what I said about us using it first. Google can be your friend sometimes lollol
Well of course we did. It's generally accepted as a song that originated in Liverpool. It's about a sailor, offs! No docks in Watford!

"
A curiosity: a 19th century sailor ballad, that passed into the keeping of Liverpool children who used it as a ball-bouncing song, and finally emerged as a wildly successful theme-tune for the television cops-and-robbers serial, “Z Cars”. Main credit is due to the folk song collector Frank Kidson, who published it in his Traditional Tunes in 1891.
Ewan MacColl also included Johnny Todd in his 1960 book The Singing Island where he noted:

This song first appeared in print in Frank Kidson's Traditional Tunes. Kidson had heard it as a child in Liverpool, where it was sung as a children's game song, and during the last fifty years many other versions have come to light. The fourth stanza is the one most subject to variation and it crops up in many songs, particularly urban ones. A Scots version, Johnny Johnson, is known to Edinburgh children.

I would never celebrate a mid-table finish just because we'd finished above Man Utd or anyone else, even if they'd shafted us, like they have done many times. And I defiantly would be made up to he one single point ahead of them with 13/12 league games to go. Act small-time, get treated like you're small-time.

It’s not small-time, it’s cekebrating doing better than previously, being proud of your community, enjoying being around people who share the same passion as you. That’s not small time, it’s just ace.

It’s also surely pretty small time to be obsessed with what Watford fans celebrate

Oh and I couldn't care less how any other club perseve us. If a Man Utd fan wants to think we're a "small club", whatever. I know they're wrong. Watford fans react angrily to being called a "small club" because they Know its true.

Celebrating achieving somthing or even just because of a win is ace. Making a massive deal about potentially beating another crap side on the road to a mid-table finish, because they took your manager (in the same way you got the manager in the first place) when the whole league bar the top six is crap is 100% small-time.
