I've had a look, he apparently officially took charge the day after that match.
With hindsight it was a bit of a strange appointment, I remember me dad wanting Clough! But maybe John Moores just wanted to play safe.

I had seen these goals plenty of times before but not since this was first broadcast had I seen the whole show and worth watching to see how Sheedy does in central midfield rather than on the left. Typically for us they finish it with a 'down memory lane' montage at the end from the 1970s when we barely ever beat City.
