4th of july good time to go for the celebration of beating the Brits, by people who were mostly other Brits funny enough.

Probably have a good chance of seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom in late March this year as we've had a warm winter thus far.

You'd need to ask a local like @wm02, but I think Virginia and Maryland geography is DC-centric when you get to that part of these states
