Wouldn’t be surprised to see one of last weeks ball boys on the bench next week, especially if the illness that put Sigurdsson and Sidibe spreads through more of the squad.

Perhaps Moise was coming down with it too which played a part in his fitness issue?

To be fair that's a possible explanation. Mad how hard he was blowing after a short spell for a 19 year old. While we're all slagging him, myself included, maybe he was just a little too professional in his approach and didn't want to cry off?

I'm throwing big maybes around but it's possible.

If we were at the other end of the table he stays on but we're not in a position atm to have passengers. He got hooked for what Dunc believed was the good of the team. Thems the breaks.
after 18 mins?
he wasn’t on a card, he wasn’t fighting with team mates, there was two minutes left,
Dunc got annoyed and hauled him off
poor man management

If Dunc gets the job we and the players will have to get use to him being controversial, he was that type of player and will be that type of manager. Calm cool and collective hadn’t worked for us so perhaps a hard nose manager is what we need.

He wasn’t doing anything apart from give them free kicks in dangerous positions
He wasn’t up for the last few minutes fight and was currently taken off. No one around me in the stands moaned. This is everton fc not Moise Kean. He can do two things now. Come back and make a point or sulk
All the signs over him look like a bad signing. He’s already missed a game for poor discipline

Had a look at redcafe to see what their take was.

Fair enough. I hope it works as a kick in the pants, I don’t think it will.
my beef was more with Ferguson blanking him then saying it was a tactical sub.

Ferguson clearly not happy with Kean hence the frosty reception when he left the pitch....

My view is he was right to substitute him : Ferguson is setting the standard he expects & Moise Kean needs to raise his game...

Kean has not impressed since he came & needs to get his head down & improve....

The younger players have risen to the Ferguson challenge Holgate,Davies & DCL all the other players must now do the same....

Moise Kean can now sulk & feel sorry for himself or get down to some hard training & improve on the pitch....

Really no need for the humiliation and ignoring him when he came off the pitch was just as bad.
I love DF but that was terrible man management.

Had a shocking first touch, gave the ball away when he actually had it, was half hearted in any challenge he made, was getting told what to do and where to go by Calvert-Lewin, Iwobi, Richarlison and even Holgate....I was there, you could tell the rest of the team where frustrated with him. It could easily have been Iwobi who went off, the lad struggled all game playing on the right but he had put a shift in and had offered nothing going forward but Kean couldn’t hold it, couldn’t pass it, didn’t close space down, gave silly free kicks away and was getting carried and got called out for it by the substitution.

It happens. Humiliating and embarrassing, absolutely. Was it the worst performance I’ve ever seen by an Everton player, absolutely not. I thought it was a surprisingly substitution at the time though. But on the way back I reckoned Ferguson’s Everton is about the collective and team spirt - old school if you like - probably limiting in its long term objectives but for sure when you are in a battle and fighting and scrapping when arguably most of all of your first choice midfield is missing and you a centre back playing centre midfield and a lad on a booking who couldn’t get near the team at the start of the season and players doing a job out of position the one thing he isn’t indulging is a young player who may think and many may judge is betterplayer than what we’ve seen to date in a Blue Shirt. It’s over to Kean to prove the manager was wrong in my book. Let’s see.

Dreadful management I thought. He's lost that player for good now. I didn't even think Kean was that bad when he came on

I don't want Dunc to be the manager at all

I understand not playing a player if he's not working hard enough off the pitch.

But putting him on to then drag him off and embarrass him, was embarrassing for Dunc himself to be honest. Unacceptable behaviour in my eyes.
