Postal Scam

Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:

A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service)suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from
Belize.

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or
ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.uk

So someones coming round putting cards under your door?

If you catch them, [Poor language removed] kill them?

My old next door neighbour who is elderly and lives on her own was scammed by some blokes who said her roof was dodgy and got her to pay £500 to get it fixed. They didnt actually do anything and left with the money. Bastards- I wish I knew about it- think my fists would have been slightly bruised.

The guy that lived next to my old aged aunt told her he was getting a new roof and as her house was attached the guy would give a good price so instead of telling us she ageed turns out she paid for both roofs and the [Poor language removed] sold the house, saw him last week but he got away he lives in huyton now but Ill get the [Poor language removed]
