Coming home from the game on Thursday i bought the wife some perfume in the airport for valentines day. She was very happy with the bottle of Jo Malone and even happier when i told her the deal i got of £44 for the bottle.

In the bar last night and told my mates about the bargain and the brownie points i had got to stay out for a few beers on valentines night. They said there was no way that was price so off i went into my banking app to show them, but no i was wrong, it was £144.

Text the wife and said not to put the dinner on as i was cashing in my credit to stay for an extra few pints.

Lesson learned to never shop while drunk.

It is the latest move from Meta to invest more in global connectivity rather than its apps.

space karen has his star-leap (or whatever) satellite comms rolled out. And his good pal at meta is rolling out sub-sea cabling. A monopoly on international communications looks like it could be within grasp. Especially if someone's shadow fleet continues cutting connections already relied upon.
 
I've had a malarial dream today, a character in this dream named tronald dump had the bravado to blame the victims of an invasion somewhere in a distant land. Turns out it was their fault for starting the invasion on behalf of someone else. I'm clearly very very ill.
 
I’ve got 5 days off and on my first night I’ve got slightly drunk and got myself into a random conversation with some bloke on facebook… I am a knob I know
