Someone who works in our office had visitors this morning. Three men from the local law enforcement agency with a warrant with his name on it for allegedly assault or something. He wasn’t in the office, he had left the building minutes earlier. He didn’t return to the office today, but continued to join conference calls and answer emails. He’s aware of the warrant because he was texted a picture of it and responded to the sender.

Is this normal or should I ask more questions?

Not UK. I was wrong about the warrant, they left a notice to turn himself in. Innocent until proven guilty and I hope it’s all a misunderstanding but he’s being sought for a crime against a person.

What's that all about?

I felt like I was having a stroke looking at it and perhaps part of my brain forgot carrot is acceptable on a chicken burger.

Serves me right for getting a burger from a chippy. Ive never done that before, and I'll never do it again.

I fear this is the result of the plethora of TV chef and food shows.

Some kid in the chippy thinks they are the next Marco Pierre White, and they start coming up with all this nonsense.
