Wanner talk about Neville

He's a leader, and everyone else plays better when he's playing, even though he's a bit gash. That said, he's not **** defensively, he's okay, not many get past him easily, it's just on the ball he has issues. Big issues.
He's a bit like a pawn in chess really. Kind of in the way at times, seems a bit useless, but you do need it at the end of the day.

We're aiming to show some ambition as a football club by getting back into Europe and we have a 35 year old left back playing in our central midfield.

You do win trophies with revolutionary new tactics and creative ways of playing the game like

I like Phil Neville, but I would never put him in our starting line-up if everyone is fully fit.

He's been a fantastic captain for us over the last 7 years (has it really been that long?), offers leadership, determination, ambition and professionalism. He's done well recently while Gibson's been out, but I think the time has come to hand over the armband to Jags for keeps.

He's still provided moments like this for which I'll always shake his hand if I met him..

I honestly don't care about him anymore, if he's there then fine, if he's not also fine

good bloke, solid pro, great leader

Picture his cute chipmunk face, a tear rolling down it's cheek. He's crying because you said he's crap. Shame on you! He's a sensitive soul!

Good. Because I cray whenever he does one of those terrible chip crosses into the box...well edge of the box.
And I weep when he lines up one of his deperate 'long' throw ins. Have we ever even nearly scored from one of them?

The same one's that always hit the first defender.

jags scored a header from 1 v wigan boxing day ,ye minge

I think he's utter ****e, he used to go in for tackles and win the ball back in the day, and was never scared of any challenge. all he seems to do these days is point at people and moan, whether he adds a different aspect to the game when he's on the pitch in terms of Management i don't know? He constantly gives the ball away, or the passes he does make frustrate me, when everyones in the box waiting for a cross and he passes it back to jags, usually so ****e the other team intercept. For me, depsite him being a great captain for the club, I think he's passed it.

And yes i watch him every week, and go to the games (this comment is for the Neville/love squad)

Gotta love the 'We win more games with him in the squad' line as if it actually means anything.

He's way past it now, can't really add anything to the team going forward and has zero pace, and that's ignoring the fact he was never really a midfielder in the first place.
