Wanner talk about Neville

I have no regrets about signing Phil and i wouldn't change a thing even if i could..He has definitely brought something either on or off the pitch....However...we should have had someone better in his playing role long before now!
I would love him to stay on in some capacity when he retires.

He did literally nothing against Swansea. He must have won the ball twice and touched it about 10 times if that. At one point I went 'Neville, what the [Poor language removed] is your purpose lad? What are you actually doing?' and at least 3 people replied at the same time with different versions of 'nothing'.

he is doing to Everton what John Smit did for us as captain of the Springboks at the last World Cup - nothing to write home about - John was in the team only for his captaincy while he was like the 5th best hooker in South Africa - and what did it bring us ? could not even reach the semi-final -
in the modern game there is no place for passengers - the opposition sniff them out and the chain always breaks at its weakest link - and the chain is only as strong as its weakest link -
he is a constant source of amusement to watch - so predictable it is very funny - even to a spectator 2 thousand miles away -
if he goes out on loan i think Everton will have to pay someone to take him - he is way past his sell-by date and it is time that he and Mr Moyes realize it because they are seriously busy ruining a past heroe's reputation -
you are ownly as good as your LAST game - and unfortunately that is what many fans will remember of Neville - how totally over the wall he was when he overstayed his wellcome - i feel very sorry for him - it is sad to see how he refuses to accept the inevitable - he certainly is plucky - but at his and Everton's cost

He screens lad.

saying that I think he has a lot to offer the club and would like to see him more actively involved in management / coaching. Possible replacement for Moyes when he swans off to Germany or wherever.

This, not as possible replacement but working under Moyes would be ideal. Sometimes i wish we had a more mobile player.
