Player Valuation: £70m
I remember protesting after the Coventry game to get Johnson out. I know that most Evertonians are from Liverpool, and many of the Kopites protesting were led by people from Liverpool.

So what I'm saying is I don't think a protest is not something that Evertonians don't do. I just wonder how many more seasons can we put up with lets face it, low level achievements, before the board are informed of our unhappiness at this clubs lack of success.

Quite frankly getting sick and tired of hearing Kenwright say he's looking for investment, getting sick and tired of reading about the players giving their excuses post match. Getting sick of Moyes saying were going to keep doing what we are doing.

To what ends? To be able to almost challenge for Europe? I brought myself up as an Evertonian and I still use their motto for everything I do in life. I sometimes don't get what I want, but I always have high aspirations.

Everton making progress is like a tanker turning around in heavy wind. We come on here and we entertain ourselves with fluff, and on the odd occassion someone will say something slightly close to the bone, and everyone jumps on that person for basically wanting more than what they are getting.

Then we get the people who seem content with the current situation at Everton.

We also get people who think Moyes is doing a good job, but Kenwright is doing an appalling job. Which for me is daft, they are both underachieving in my eyes.

I want Kenwright out and I want Moyes out, because quite frankly I'm getting bored with Everton, I've lost count of the times I have seen optimism removed because of an unwillingness to take the situation by the hand and do something about it.

What happened to Robert Earl and his incredible marketing prowess and business sense? All we seem to have gotten from America is a tease from Landon Donovan and a bunch of 4th rate college kids who wouldn't even get into Tranmere's reserve side.

No doubt most will jump all over me about this, but to be honest, I don't give a toss. Put me on ignore.

Waiting David lad, eternally waiting...

Well I don't expect many to agree with me. GOT is famed for it's more passive opinions, and it's a pleasant place. My thoughts for Everton and the players are not in doubt, and I will follow Everton till my days end. I just feel that there isn't enough done to appease long suffering fans.

Next season we are going to lose Pienaar and Heitinga, and maybe Yak. There is no money to buy players. Fellaini won't stick around either I feel.

How many of us are optimistic, truly, for next season?

Well mate from what I am hearing we have nish to spend. and even if we have £20m to spend each summer window, which I doubt, that is nowhere near enough.

All I want and I don't think it's too much to ask, is for the club to be able to give the manager at least £50m to spend each summer, and that includes new contracts. I really don't think it is too much to ask.

May I ask though, why are you optimistic, and try and be as pragmatic as possible and avoid feelings, or old romantic thoughts about gut and steel. Lets deal in facts.

Its a lot to ask mate, most clubs dont spend that and those that do tend to be in the man ure buisness before long. But i think some perspective is needed we're prob a good striker of being one of the top trams in the league, playing some great stuff an overhaul isnt required i would say possibly 30 mill on 3 players between now and the summer to finish this team of - cant see it though to be fair.

Still think we will finish very high up, ill bump this thread and give you all the rightness acolades if we dont get Europe this season, which i think we will.

Wow, little over a month and you've changed your tune. Typical Ghost.

Your on a 24/7 wind up mate, really don't value your posts anymore

Put me on ignore then mate. I commented post Liverpool that we needed to step out of Liverpool's shadows. But we haven't taken the opportunities.

After we flew back against Man U, we got dumped on are arse by Newcastle at home. I'm sorry mate, but my tune is always the same. We have potential, we just don't use it. That's it.

The people who don't change their tune are the ones who still think Moyes is the saviour because he got us to 4th spot moons ago.

You really did have a crap holiday didn't you. You've been on meltdown since you got back FFS

Yeah, well just say it as I see it. I know that people don't like to see it, and I'm sorry I won't change my style. But your all about to be made very happy.

I have only been an official blue for two years. So I doubt my opinion can mean as much as someone that was born a blue. I will give you my American Football current situation. Born near Denver I follow the Denver Broncos since I was born. So the previous 7 years was full of mediocre finishes with some playoff births hear and there. The Owner booted the GM and Head Coach... Well we now have for the second year since the new Coach and GM that are in the bottom of our division and we are complete crap. 3 wins 7 losses and are crap. Utter crap we are, I would take having a chance to make the playoffs and being competitive over the current situation.

Be careful what you wish for. I know you love this team and probably the most passionate/emotional fan on here. With everything I have seen, read, and from my current experience loyalty helps and the grass is not always greener.

I'd just like to say I agree with that.
