VPNs

Helps if you want to watch online and not using a sat dish and box. I'm on the edge of the Sky footprint so the slightest movement and I lose signal.
Yeah, good point..
Was thinking if sky went down so would your broadband/internet, but if your using other broadband then your prob be fine..

….i purchased NORD to help me access my betting accounts whilst on holiday. Can’t remember how much I pay, I can get on most firms but not all when I’m away. It’s not like I’m betting daily but I like to have access in case a good Cheltenham offer comes along.

NORD is fine for my purposes, I’ve literally just got home from Kos and switched it off because I don’t need it at home. Didn’t know VPN is used for anything else.

Had Nord for a couple of years, it was good. If you go through cashback sites to buy your vpn subscription you can usually get most of the money back - topcashback and Quidco are good cashback sites.

Windscribe is generally decent. There is a free one you can use with quite limited countries, but the full version is fairly cheap and they often have deals on. The desktop client can take a wee while to connect at times, but the browser extension is really handy.
