I'm not sure I have the slightest bit of useful information to select a candidate tbh. Very top line things on what people want to do. Absolutely nothing on how they plan to do it or what makes them qualified to deliver it.

Populism and Cult of Personality is the order of the day in these times unfortunately.

Whole of Sunderland about to go Reform tonight, and to make matters worse we'll be the first to do so - which means we'll be over all the news tomorrow when people wake up. Face of the right again (same with Brexit).

Loads of regeneration into the city over the past few years, and I really worry if that'll stop with the new council - I suppose we'll have to just see.

I was out door knocking on behalf of my local councillor in London today and I was shocked by the condition of some of the housing people were having to live within.

We're a wealthy country and the maintenance of some the buildings was appalling. Lifts out of operation for a month in a ten storey building built on the fifties; filthy walkways with flies everywhere.

People deserve better but sadly the likely results tonight will just make things worse.

I am older generation, but you could not torture me into voting reform. Anyone with a brain cell can see through them.

I’m certainly in their demographic but I feel like exactly like you , awful disgusting party whose leader would likely be interned if the Russians attacked but bangs on about patriotism. Took me til later life to truly see the reality of it being the last refuge of the scoundrel.
