Vlasic

Would love Vlasic back, he's been super impressive for Croatia in the few games I've seen. Sure he's been one of the best players in the Russian league, but that obviously doesn't really translate. Have to look at his international performances to gauge his progress. Not only does he not look out of place in a Croatia side with Modric, Kovacic, Brozovic, Perisic, etc., he's been a standout.

But until we know who the new manager is there is no point in speculating. Unfortunately most managers would probably shuttle him out to the wing again, and we've been down that road with Iwobi, Bernard, Gylfi occasionally.

As if he'd come back here.

I'll be honest, he might have had a lot of potential, but he really didn't show it while he was here, although admittedly, that was with very few opportunities. But Silva obviously had no interest in him, and sent him on loan before selling him and Lookman the following summer to buy Iwobi.

Maybe Brands was following instructions, but he was here, so it would be a strange 1 if he comes back.

That said, there was an interview with him a while back saying if Ancelotti had been here when he was, he never would've left, so maybe it was more about him not getting on with Silva. It will have to be another top name to entice him back me thinks.

Surely depends on who the next manager is?
Patience!

Yes pls

My only knowledge outside of Everton and the prem is Football Manager, and he turns into one mean individual on that game

Plus nothing tickles my bollocks like a comeback/revenge/prodigal son story, this ticks all 3 boxes

this sounds like the kind of thing we would do. Make some cash on a player then buy him back for treble the price we sold him for so he has another opportunity to flop here costing us more in the process.

He doesn’t strike me as the type who chooses his own career path

It’s a family/agent thing with him, in football there’s only one thing that incentivises both

I guess 1 in 2 in Russia is on a par with maybe the Scottish league? If you played for rangers or Celtic. Doesn’t mean he will light up the premier…. Having said that I think he’s still worth a punt
Yeah if you play in Russia you cant be good. That guy that our clown in goal crippled did play in Scotland. Surely on par to Russia isnt it?
