agreed, you could see it in the games he was brought on he offered something going forward. Badly mismanaged, should have kept him.

This, all day long. He fancies himself as a no. 10, but has often been played on the wing. He's a decent passer, good dribbler, quite quick and scores goals. Looks more like an inside forward (in old money) to me, but could do well with DCL and Richi. Certainly better than the 3 options you've named, who have all had the chances Vlasic never got.

So , slightly worse goal scoring record than Prince Oumar‘s Russian tally which was 12 goals in 28 games. On that basis we‘ll definitely buy him for over the odds. I’ll watch him at the Euros with interest.
