Vladimir Bystrov (Russian: Владимир Витальeвич Быстров) born January 31, 1984 in Luga, Leningrad Oblast) is a Russian football right winger who currently plays for Spartak Moscow and Russia. Before that, he played for Zenit Saint Petersburg. He is renowned for his electrifying pace being one of the fastest players in Europe (interestingly, his last name translates to "fast" in English). Bystrov is the most fouled upon player in the Russian Premier League largely due to how hard he is to stop. Bystrov is due to join (ENG) Everton F.C. of the Premier League on the 17/08/2009.[1]

not sure if this has already been said on here but i also checked the spartak moscow website and his profile has been taken off

Hmm, he's still on this page: Official site of FC "Spartak" Moscow - First team

Now, when I click the link under his picture nothing happens. But it's ditto with all their other players and I'm quite sure they're not all leaving the club.

He looks remarkably like Anton Peterlin
