If it wasn't for the Iranian lunatic who is in charge, I would think that this is just a smoke screen. So much for Moshiri listening to the fans. If this is correct, and I won't believe it until I see it officially announced, then it really seems a bizarre appointment. All that said, it's the last throw of the dice, I hope my feelings are wrong and Moshiri's are right. We really need to get behind this feller from day one, we really are running out of time here.

Hopefully he has been watching the videos of our matches this season and is aware of our glaring need for strength in midfield and has identified players he wants the club to get for him this week.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, we sign another very slow ageing midfield journeyman midfielder, who proceeds to get injured in his first match and Pereira puts Rondon in midfield for the rest of the season. My only crumb of comfort is that he can't possibly be as bad as Benitez and he starts with a clean sheet as far as I'm concerned 'no bed sheet reference intended'.

Exactly. Sam Allardyce would be. And its funny because the situation is more desperate than when we first hired him. So to go for an unknown like vp lamps or Rooney is mental. The thought of hiring sam a second time in 3 years is unthinkable and laughable to the highest order. But the one that makes complete sense. No way in hell BFS would relegate a side a few points already in safety.

Even Watford have gone down that road with Hodgson rather than some journeyman.

Pulis is available and never been relegated.

Yeah that’s the only hope; he can motivate the players enough to get us over the line.

It’s just the most random appointment ever and stinks of Kia the Rat

Mate, our owner told the world that Lukaku’s ma made him leave because of voodoo.

The man is crazy, literally 100% mentalist and knows nothing about football
A poster came out with that hed be banned immediately. Funny these billionaires are shielded from the PC stuff. Uncancellable.

Average working class lad gets condemned in society may lose a job.

Celebrity your getting 'cancelled'.

Billionaire... he's mad him.. eccentric character.

Also is telling within everton. Mosh billionaire making mad decisions gone backwards since he took over from Bill Kenwright. Kenwright hasn't billions so its his name on the bedsheets and calls for him to go. When he's not the one in control.

Imagine seeing that before you've even signed

Just echoes the frustrations of the fans. Probably not the right thing to do. But failing to see how else they can get their point across in fairness.

I cba with this anymore. Just appoint someone so we can get on with it. If it's gonna be VP just do it so he can get us that CB already

If its not get on with it. We're running out of time.
Absolutely not the right thing to do. Putting graffiti on Goodison is never the right thing to do.

There are plenty of ways to show your understandable frustration and annoyance without causing damage to our stadium.

I'm resigned to it. It being whatever happens between now and May. With this owner, catastrophe will strike sooner or later. That's the grim truth.

I think this is the point of no return for the club. This is a manager who has absolutely no credentials to manager our club. He's being appointed when we are in our most precarious situation since the turn of the century. He is clearly being pushed by an agent and our owner is more than happy to go along with it. The manager is a 3 at the back specialist and is going to try and implement that into a squad lacking in good defenders. We have had managerial turmoil throughout Moshiri's tenure with no continuity, and he decides a short term interim approach is what is needed.

I'm close to the end of the line with this club. This owner is not acting in the best interests of the club and this has the feel of a perfect storm. Unless there is unity within the support and within the playing squad, we have no chance. The players partly put us into this mess, but they are the only people who can get us out of it, because the board can't, the owner can't, the supporters can't and Kia Joorabchain can't.

It’s more that’s is just an embarrassing piece of graffiti for me. I’m not really bothered about respect for the stadium or whatever, it’s not offended, it’s a building.

Even if Pereira pulls the rabbit out of the hat it's only a matter of time now I feel.

Moshiri doesn't know what he's doing and he's not learning from his countless mistakes.

Vitor could keep us up this season but the trajectory of the club will continue downwards whilst Moshiri is making the footballing decisions

He needs to hire people who actually know what they are doing and butt out of footballing matters because he's a stupid idiotic moron who doesn't know what the heck he's doing

Sure, maybe he knows business, but he does not know football and it's downright embarrassing watching the clueless goggle eyed freak stumble from one disaster to another

If Pereira gets the job then I'll back the team and hope for the best, but goodness me is it an underwhelming appointment, especially in a world where Kovac was out of work and we could have thrown everything at him in order to get him
