Have to disagree, I think Tarkowski has been very poor this season and Branthwaite lacks positional discipline at this stage of his development. Coleman is probably our most reliable performer but now past his best.

I agree about Tarks, and Branthwaite is learning, the hard way, n a back four open to self inflicted mistakes every game.

But I think Vitaly, gets lost on the pitch, and caught out of position too often, plus there's a lack of understanding in my view, between the whole back line this season, at times including Pickford,in all the games, so far.

He really is a very average player, however, at this stage in their respective careers, he is probably a marginally better bet than Ashley Young. Our options at left back are very concerning.

If he was average he might occasionally contribute to an attack, or do some kind of decent defencive clearance or something.

Unfortunately all he can do is run around a bit.
