The home leg: Wyness putting tickets on general sale with a few days notice of the game and season ticket holders not boxed off...and blaming it on the possibility for terriorist attacks on large queues forming on the night. :lol:

Do you think tickets will still be availible for this tomorrow? Thinking of going to the Park End and picking a pair up but not sure if it'll be too late.

for me there was no on gods earth were us goinng to be allowed through no mater what they made sure we got the hardest possable draw and then brought a reteird referee back in to the game with the directive to not allow us through by any means possable theres no other explanation for me!!! collina make a huge error??? never!!! 5 english clubs in the group stages palatini dispises the prem league......... never you figure it out
 
Iv never watched it again since it infuriates me so much. Every time someone cites collina as the best ref ever it makes me want to yell at them until my throat is sore.

I thought so too but although every ref gets decisions wrong, that disallowed goal convinced me he was corrupt. He undid every bit of respect i had for him with that decision.

Agree 100% with this. Am also a long-time mocker of conspiracy theories (moon-landing aside) but this one doesn't sit right. Maybe it's because it involves the club I love? Maybe not....

Yeah thats definitely a game that pee's me off, it was a legit goal, God knows why Collina aka "The Mars Attacks Alien" blew the whistle, what a prick! He must of had money on it.

But we didn't have much coefficient points as we hadn't been in Europe for a while so wed always get a tough draw

Well we got plenty of crap teams in the Europa and Arsenal have Udinese in the Champs league play offs.

I mean it could of been a big conspiracy but yet its equally possible we just had some bad luck.

Some team has to get a hard draw, and every ref makes mistakes sometimes. Or we saved ourselves the embarasment of getting bummed in the group stages.

Actually thats probably bollocks but it makes it easier to take!
