I think this works perfectly for us. Davies, Gomes and Sigurdsson gives you an angry feeling when you even think about it.

I suppose this is what happens when you play a season during a pandemic. At least it means we should have some of injured players back and fully fit for next league game.

Just a bummer because wanted to keep some momentum up and reckon we would have beat Villa this weekend.

Not unhappy to be honest.

Their players will still be able to train at home, will still be given tactics on us, yet we're missing some of our 3 of our better players, and Doucoure now only misses a cup game, against a team who seemingly will be playing their kids.

It’s a massive result for us.

We only have the cup game between now and Leicester at the end of the month, and our full squad should be back by then.

Even Gbamin will be fit to play by then!

We need to be taking it easy and avoiding any unnecessary injuries over the next two weeks though.

Genuinely happy with this outcome.

We would have been smashed without DCL, Allan and Doucoure. It also Richarlison time to get up to fitness and give the lads a break after 210 mins of football in a 72 hour period.

We have actually been quite fortunate when it comes to the timing of these postponements.
