Just in from the game. Took a video of the announcement of the match being postponed tonight.

This was taken at 19:15 tonight, 30 minutes before kick off. The place was like a ghost town. There was only about 100 people in the ground at the time and no Palace fans.

Bergara and Howard were out doing a warm up, but the cones and the football bag was blowing all over the place. Bergara retrieved all the balls and then they all went in. Then the announcement was made by Rossy over the PA system:

Yeah but they had shot off when I came to go.

Did you go inside mate? I went to the reception and the lad gave me the £5 back.

This was about 7:40-7:45pm, after walking back from Goodison.

I'd get in touch with them mate, they seemed really reasonable.

No about 7.20. I'll try at the weekend. Thanks.

Who in the hell goes to the ground half an hour early?

Half an hour isn't that early. I like seeing the warm up, plus I'm with the family. Same routine for years mate.

I'm not much of a drinker and I'm usually driving anyway.

The ground usually has a decent amount of people inside at that point - it was empty tonight because of all the travel problems everyone else had.

I went in about the same time felt it would be safer inside after seeing police lining City road and Goodison road because of damaged buildings. Never seen it that quiet before at that time, felt very strange. Just read a load of bull from the mirror online saying the winslow was blown away and was virtually demolished according to a spokesman! spokesman meaning exaggerated bull****
