finished 'crysis', was a little let down

'bioshock' is in my opinion this years best game.

Is Bioshock available on PC and what kind of game is it?

yes its what i played it on (pc)

its an FPS (first person shooter)

and its very possibly the best game i have ever played.

How would it compare to Doom and/or F.E.A.R. ?

doom will always have a place in the archives of history

f.e.a.r i havnt played fully - but bioshock is well worth a torrent download, its fabulous - i wont ruin it for you, put it like this - i cant remember the last time i let out a shriek, but two weeks ago bioshock surprised me so, for one second i was caught off guard completely. the story, the graphics, the puzzles, the actual game play ( gameplay has been often neglected of late ) the detail, the surprises, the premise, the feel, the design, the atmosphere - its bioshock all the way.

how computer games should be, considered, intelligent, thought through, well made.

Bioshock is a sequel to System Shock 2, a game which I played to death.

Bioshock is absolutely brilliant, as Suits said, the atmosphere, gameplay, story all come together to make it more than just a game, it is an experience.

That being said, my top 3 this year.....

1 - Mass Effect
2 - Bioshock
3 - Halo 3
