Ive only ever seen him in the SPL and I cant judge anyone who plays in that league with the dross on offer, he could be decent but I think Utd could do alot better look at the scrapping with chelski over future makelele john obi mikel years ago the guys ****e lol

I know what you mean the league is ****e. He has more than held his own in Europe as well though

He's certainly better than any other English keeper bar Hart

Least it's a good predicament for the national team having two good quality keepers to battle over

The press do it with any player who's doing well up in the SPL mate, Jelavic Hooper Wanyama etc..
Everton down here seem to be an SPL club though, any time a player performs well for a few games and bam they automatically are on the move. Sh*te.

In this wacky era we live in, you could very easily get £25M for him, doesn't necessarily mean he's worth it though. I doubt anybody would pay that for him from an SPL team though. What's likely to happen will be Celtic sell for 6-8 million to say a team like Wigan then a couple of seasons later Man U for example would then pay the £25M

The way it went was he was like a bat out of hell scoring for fun then died down for a bit and then just erupted again, that's when all the transfer speculation arose about him

Have no doubt he will come back to form this season

Hopefully he will, just needs a couple of good back to back games and he will be back scoring like he was

I dont rate him, he is a player who would have suited us 2 to 11 years ago when we played with 10 men behind the ball and to contain.
Now we are finally going at teams, Wanyama would be more of a hinderance.

Whenever i've seen him play mate, he's looked anything but slow. He's a strong defensive unit, but so is/was Fellaini when deployed in that role. That strength isn't just limited to defending.
