No, but seriously, he's a carthorse. If you're lucky you'll get a five game burst out of him at some point this season where he'll net a few but I seriously doubt he'll ever manage more than 10 goals a season at this level.

A £6m fee is nothing short of robbery - you've paid at the very least three times his actual value.

Very harsh, he's been a very useful player for us at times over the last two season. He's been hugely unlucky to have his development hampered by a lot of injuries, one horrific one in particular.

Also, his goals/game ratio is at best distorted, as he's played many, many games out on the wing.
 

I always reckoned there was a player there fcked up by the infamous Moyes striker curse but the fact Martinez has let him go might mean he really is ordinary.

Personally I hope he does well.
 
Thought the lad had cracked it last season but wasn't to be. Although I wouldn't judge any striker who had to develop under Moyes. Best of luck to the lad.
 
Vic had a reputation for being lazy and stroppy at Everton. It's a good move for him and gives him chance to show to the Baggies fans what he can do. Hopefully he'll take the chance and make a go of it. I think he'll do well but 6 million is outrageous.
 

He clearly found it hard to leave, in his interview when Everton got mentioned and he spoke you could hear his voice break a little. Hope he does well for WBA. Just not against us, tbh he'll probably be sobbing that he's back at Goodison for the whole game.
 
Potentially a very good player, and massively underated by Everton fans. Quick, strong, and will score some goals. Needs to believe in himself more. if he's given a run, could do very well for you, but a confidence player.
 
this time ;last year many of us would've flogged him for a million or two but he put in a good stint last season so musch so that I'd have liked to have kept him on the books as you could see there is a player in there, but £6m in is a good sale for us and a fresh start for the lad. I hope he does well but more so, I hope he keeps up the much better attitude he had last season. I for one will be clapping you when you return this season big dude
 
Him winning the ball and taking it into no man's land before falling over and having a look of utter confusion on his face, as if some unseen force possessed him for a few seconds. The lad's reading of the game and awareness of what was going around him was like a 10-year old playing on the school field.

Good luck him though, those comments about how Everton will always be his team were very nice.
 
He's not an all-rounder but he does certain things very well and when you play to his strengths he becomes very difficult for defenders to manage.
 

If Victor gets the support from the WestBrom fans and he becomes a regular starter he will score between 9 and 14 goals a season -
get him fit and motivated and make him feel at home and he will certainly win you quite a few games - not a Lukaku but maybe has more goals in him than Long
 
Strong and fairly quick for his size. If he's motivated he can be a handful. Obviously strong and he has a pretty good shot and a good eye for a pass. If he's frustrated he'll go looking for fouls and sulk about.

He's prone to getting isolated up top and he's guaranteed to strain his hammy or calf at least once a season.

For 3m he would have been a very good buy. For 6m he's a pretty big gamble. Hopefully he gets you 10 this season and none of them are against us.
 
He knows how to turn and shoot with the best of em. You can tell he's a bit mental with himself sometimes and gets in his own head, but I suspect he'll be a good player for West Brom. Wish you would have taken Jelavic off our hands instead.
 
Strong as an ox, play it into his feet in the box and he is a threat. Can be frustrating and a lot of his second touches are tackles
 
He's not as bad as people are making out. He's got everything a top striker needs, strong, fast, can finish when he wants. He just needs to be more consistent and 'loved' he'll do well for you given the opportunity.

The 'sulkiness' and 'banging fists on floor' was the vic of about three years ago. He doesn't do it anymore. I suspect the people saying he still does that, don't go the match often. His work rate has improved massively.
