I don't know that we have all of that information with transfer fees, loan fees, wages and the timing of payments.

I'm sure we don't have that information, our board doesn't do releasing financial detail.

But your assumption is that we paid out more than we brought in overall in that last window i.e. invested in the squad. To be fair that takes a ****load of assuming.

I didn't assume that. They could have taken on more debt, paid some off etc. But I think it's obvious that the more cash that goes to players means less cash to debt, no? I'm not sure what else the club would spend their cash on.

Sorry mate, when you said "They chose to invest in the squad this time around", I thought you meant they'd invested in the squad. No worries.
