They'll be happy enough with a performance that sees us qualify to the next round won't they?

If we play to win and draw, that's one thing

But, if it's clear from the off that we're playing for a point, it does the supporters a disservice IMO

I remember feeling very disapointed after Lille. I wanted to feel like my support was worth more than going all that way to watch us rarely leave our own half

It's a noble attitude like, but I think most would like us to ensure the points rather than gallantly miss out. To take 9 points from 5 games in a group you are seeded third is a great return.

We will get beat here, These are decent and our injuries have kinda [Poor language removed] us over a little. No shame in losing to these tho if we do, am hoping there wont be a normal meltdown

Just read the bbc preview

"German side Wolfsburg will go through to the next round if they defeat the Premier League side."

Koff. What about, EFC will be all but assured of going through if they avoid defeat.

Hate the bbc

Hate the bbc
"A win or a draw for Roberto Martinez's men will guarantee them a berth in the knockout round."
If you are going to irrationally hate all media outlets at least get your facts right. I hate it when fans always try to play the victim.

I missed the bit about us.

Wasn't playing victim though. I hate the bbc anyway

.....if I went over I have to say that I'd be delighted coming out of the ground with a solid defensive performance and a point. We are playing better opposition (than Lille) and a point will not only put us through but see us in the driving seat for top spot.

Team news will be interesting.
