very sad if true - I don't think we can dismiss this guy just because its 'only Fulham' that want him - Fulham have had some very high quality players down the years who have been sold on for a lot of money - Dembele for example. Bryan Ruiz another who would walk into our side at present.

Play's in Fellaini's role doesn't he? Given the way our guy bossed them at Craven Cottage I don't think even Jol would pick Ruiz over Fellaini.
not convinced he wouldnt - but Berbatov/Hangeland would surely be there or thereabouts.
My point is the idea that he cant be any good because he's going to Fulham doesnt seem to add up to me when you look at the players they have had/still have.
Scouting networks are very wide and sophisticated these days. The fact that more than a few Premier league clubs had this guy on their radar suggests to me he is actually a decent player. Not heard of any other centre backs we are linked with either.

Well, by Norway standards even Bolton is a big european club. But that was not the point, but it looks like (according to the local paper) it's not Fulham that's made the bid for Forren.
