Vaughan's knee

Poor feller. But it was written on the cards IMO. Too many nasty and niggling injuries since he was like 17 isnt going to be good.

I can't see him ever getting back to the level of potential he shown 2 or 3 years ago. He will be a championship player if his knee holds out. Shame, beacuse i really really like Vaughan. I hope he proves me wrong, good luck to the lad

No disrespect, but if he was a racehorse he would be glue by now.

No player can miss 2-3 years and be the same player. I feel for the poor lad, not sure when his contract is up, but if this carrys on I doubt he will get a new 1.

It's a shame and I really feel for him, but maybe it would be wise looking for a career change. Always had a lot of time for him, but unfortunately it looks like it will end in shattered dreams for him.:(

I envisage him not listening to the physios and coming back when he feels ready not when he is actually ready,He's always seemed to come back ahead of schedule. coincided with his (admirable) 100 mph effort on the pitch has given him no chance.

Regardless of his POTENTIAL ability, he's 21 now, 5 years ago he scored that goal against palace. In that time he's made 38 appearances. Thats what we get for not selling him for the astronomical £3m offered. He's worth naff all. Fools for not selling him, how long left on his contract? Get rid.
