It's unbelievable the fuss they're making about it. That happens all the time and is never a penalty. I think there are 2 reasons why they're making a huge deal about it. Firstly Forest gave away an extremely soft penalty for the same thing last week, but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Secondly Don Goodman kept bleating on about it on Sky which then led to them overanalysing it after the game. If he's just said the Forest player tugs Doucoure"s shirt to gain an advantage, then Doucoure tugs his shirt back and he throws himself theatrically to the floor, for me it's not a penalty no fuss would have been made. However if I was Dyche I'd be telling our players to keep their hands off the shirts when we're defending corners and free kicks because they'll be desperate to give one against us nowWell what a surprise, the walking

Well it could have been given but I guarantee that there would be at least one penalty in every game if shirt pulling and blatant obstruction were penalised for those offences, they are totally ignored 99% of the time.
but it happens all the time, every game, someone is being pulled around, hardly ever get given. They should but no way on earth that is given against the RS in front of the Kop.
One of those that usually stays with the on field decision I thought. We probably got away with one, although we had a decent shout on a handball in the first half before Beto's miss IIRC

Some mad decisions over the weekend, the tackle on Foden by the Luton player was as a clear red card as you’ll get and a similar one in the spurs game. Not sure what’s going on.

Speaking of pedantic; I don't understand why Trippier didn't get a card for pulling his shirt up over his head after his gaffe for our first goal. Or is it only a booking if you do that when celbrating a goal? Is it the celebration that's the problem, not the 'shirt abuse'?

the old rule of either deliberate handball or you gained an advantage from an accidental handball seems reasonable, consistent and cn be easily applied.
Which is exactly why they won’t do it.. leaves them less reasons to come up with when they mess it up
